Introduction:

Program Details:

The fifth edition of Misk Initiatives Incubator aims to support and scale youth-led non-profit

initiatives, guiding them through an 11-week journey that combines mentorship, technical support, and funding to help them register as official non-profit organizations.

The program targets youth-led non-profit initiatives specializing in culture and heritage, technology, environment, well-being in addition to youth development and volunteering

The journey includes an intensive curriculum covering nine key areas, including: defining the organization's mission, understanding beneficiaries, developing value propositions, managing development projects, Measuring impact, and financial sustainability planning. The program concludes with a final Pitch Day, where participants present their initiatives.

The program will be delivered in person for initiatives based in Riyadh, and virtually for those located outside the city.

Program Benefits

  • Co-working space: A shared workspace will be available throughout the program to allow teams to meet, collaborate, and interact with other participating initiatives.
  • Weekly online mentorship sessions: Every Sunday, participants will join a 2-hour virtual mentorship session related to that week’s theme (6 PM to 8 PM).
  • One-on-one coaching sessions: Weekly in-person (or online) coaching sessions to support teams in applying the weekly content. These 90-minute sessions will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays between 6 PM and 9 PM.
  • Expert Talks: Periodic talks with sector leaders who will share their experiences and insights with participants.
  • Professional Learning Content: Access to exclusive educational materials on Misk Hub across 9 core nonprofit development areas.
  • Financial Support: At the end of the program, participants may present their initiatives and receive financial support upon meeting specific criteria.
    In-kind Support: A variety of in-kind support will be available to help initiatives launch and grow.
  • Official Registration Support: Full support will be provided to help participating initiatives complete the legal registration process.
  • Pitch Day: Participants will present their initiatives to an audience of key players in the Non-profit  sector, helping them build partnerships and secure support.

Program Prerequisites:

1. Geographic Location:
Must be based in Saudi Arabia.
2. Youth-Focused Impact:
Over 50% of the organization's beneficiaries should be youth.
3. Legal Status:
Registered NPO (e.g. Association, nonprofit company or endowment) or Social Business (e.g. has commercial registration along with social business accreditation).
Program Prerequisites:
  • The Initiative must target youth (at least 50% of beneficiaries).
  • At least one program has been implemented by the initiative.
  • Three team members must commit to attend all sessions held after 6:00 PM
  • The initiative must be currently unregistered and willing to register during the program.
  • Participants from Riyadh attend in-person; others join remotely.
  • The initiative must fall under one of the five key areas: youth and volunteering, values, culture & arts, modern technology, quality of life, or environmental sustainability.
